No But Seriously, What Happened? is the seventh episode of Survivor: Mongolia.
Episode Summary[]
- Immunity Challenge: Endurance
Following Tatar tribal, the game was rocked by the announcement of the merge. Kerait and Tatar became the yellow Mangudai tribe. They were told that Jury was to start at 9, so the next person voted out would not join the Jury. The Tatar alliance were hopeful of Tyler flipping to them, but then Sam told them that Tyler had tried to get HIM to flip, suddenly sending the former red tribe into worry. After voting with Ethan at last tribal, Stephen managed to work his way back into the core alliance as he attempted to unite the tribe as a font against the other tribe. Meanwhile the Kerait alliance continued to lobby Sam to flip, but were struggling to get any progress from their talks. After Ashley won the first Individual Immunity Challenge, fears started to arrive that it would be a 5-5 deadlock, and that they'd have to go to rock-picking. At the vote, their fears became reality when the vote tied with five votes to Logan and five votes to Mike, and lobbying for the re-vote began. Tyler and Tom decided the way to get Sam to flip to the Kerait Five was to forge a fake F3 alliance. This persuaded Sam a lot. The tribes waited nervously for the vote, and when it finally came, Sam made the biggest and boldest move of the game thus far by flipping, and Mike's torch was snuffed in a 5-3 re-vote, leaving Stephen, Josh and Ty stunned at their ally's departure, and the Kerait Five smirking as they took majority.
